Very good pedal allowing to play in rhythm and/or to place some solos. It is preferable to add a Boss FS-5U pedal for live use. Only regret, after 4 years of amateur use, I can no longer change the recording range and, the contacted Boss company indicated that it is no longer possible to obtain the computer card that could allow the pedal to be repaired. In summary, I am happy with the product but disappointed by its operating duration and its repairability.

Looper a bit complex to learn to use, but not Einstein either. Unfortunately, it did not adapt to my equipment - backtrack sound recorded via USB: volume OK - my guitar sound in overdub: very low Roland/Boss support advice: lower the backtrack volume. Yeah.. but you really have to lower it a lot. That said, my amp is a 1990 Session! Otherwise, most people have no problems. Found someone else for whom it was the same. Make sure to keep a return right for testing.

- You can't change the sound otherwise all guitars have the same one, for example I can record a clean sound and overdub it with distortion but the first guitar will automatically switch to distortion - When you put an effect on a guitar it is also assigned to the drum machine

Very easy to use, in five minutes you already feel like a great composer :). The auto mode is very practical as well as the automatic loop timing to the rhythm. This is my first looper and I already wonder how I managed without it all these years as it so much improves my life as a solo guitarist. Perfect for practicing scales and improvisations while composing little pieces. For me, it is a tool to recommend to every guitarist regardless of their level.

Pedal designed to be used with a Moog Etherwave Theremin, not as a looper but as a working tool for the instrument, allowing you to record and listen back very quickly without leaving the playing position. It is very effective for working on intonation and expressiveness on entire pieces or small difficult phrase sections (try the half-step climbs in a Fauré, you'll tell me what you think...). Superb sound quality, no noticeable hiss. In terms of ergonomics, an external pedalboard is a big plus. The official pedalboard is large and expensive but it is very easy to make one for a few euros. Very fast delivery to parcel pickup points.

I use it with a Fender Mustang 3 v1 modeling amp here is how to connect it For the issue of the loop in clean sound that goes into distortion: You have to connect the loop station in the effects loop of the amp (if the amp has one). Guitar --> Amp Guitar Input -> Amp Send -> BOSS INPUT A --> BOSS OUTPUT A --> Amp Return. In this case, the loop recorded in the loop station will not be modified when changing the amp channel. Received in barely two days, this looper is a marvel: You can record piano, guitar, bass parts infinitely and improvise over them with a wah-wah pedal for example, all with several available drum rhythms, and save everything. The only downside is that when playing with a saturated sound, you cannot play over a guitar sound or a clear rhythm but only over a saturated sound as well.

Superb pedal, easy to use and allowing a lot with its large memory capacity, I haven't had the chance to test the USB connection since acquiring it but it is obvious that it further enhances the product's possibilities. Small downside is the very low battery life as announced (about 3h), plan to buy the power supply.

This pedal is a very good looper with a good quality-price ratio, for recording only guitar loops it is great and easy to use, for recording loops with drums, vocals... you will need to look more towards the rc30. When the pedal is activated the sound is not colored at all and the LED system is very practical to know when you are recording, when you are listening, or when you are recording while listening. I highly recommend this pedal to all guitarists looking for a simple but very effective looper and also in a compact format.
